  • With almost 25 years of experience, Futuregames has consistently ranked as one of the best game education schools in the world. With campuses in Stockholm, Malmo, Boden, Skellefteå, and Karlstad in Sweden, the school takes pride in its commitment to bridging the gap between education and the professional industry. By offering short courses for professionals to full-time programs for aspiring game developers, the school collaborates closely with renowned game companies such as Avalanche Studios, CD Project Red, EA DICE, Epic Games, King, Ubisoft, and many others to ensure the school provides an always-relevant immersive learning environment for its students.

After its success in Sweden, the school opened a new campus in Warsaw, Poland. The city has a major video game industry and Futuregames Warsaw is located in the headquarters of CD Projekt Red, one of the biggest game development companies in the world. With the partnership with CDPR, Futuregames Warsaw continues to be at the forefront of producing some of the best talent when it comes to game development.

“You can imagine how motivated if you are learning at school, which is neighbor to the company of your dreams where you want to end up as a designer, artist or programmer,” says Piotr Matecki, Head of School and Business Development.

    THE CHALLENGE

As the gaming industry evolving, the focus has shifted beyond graphics to more immersive storytelling tools. This means more immersive experiences, featuring complex subplots and unexpected twists fostering deeper player engagement. To meet this demand, Futuregames Warsaw needs to provide its students with industry-standard equipment to ensure they have the necessary skills to start their careers in the world of game development.

    THE SOLUTION

Monitor that brings lifelike detail and smooth visual
Across the school, Futuregames uses the ASUS ProArt Display PA278CGV on game design and development. What makes this monitor suitable is its 144Hz variable refresh rates. Students can review fast-moving images smoothly to ensure the ultimate viewing experience. Additionally, the monitor features a 27-inch QHD screen that displays 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB Rec.709 color gamut to explicitly present every detail. Since students sometimes spend hours in front of the monitor, the display’s ultra-low blue light and flicker-free technology also provide them with comfortable viewing experience.

“Color accuracy is one of the most important things. We need to see all the little details and color differences because just a small change in the value of any color or hue can make a great difference,” says Daniel Gonzalez, Game Art student at Futuregames.

Workstation with powerful performance and efficient cooling
Having a powerful workstation is a crucial part of game design and development. Using the Mastero Professional Workstation Powered by ASUS, Futuregames Warsaw has been able to establish a seamless workflow that stretches from the start to the finish of game development. The workstation is equipped with the powerful ProArt GeForce RTX™ 4070 Ti graphics card, which gives students the processing power they need when working with high-performance games. Furthermore, the efficient cooling system and quiet performance make it easy to have over 35 people working in one room.

    THE OUTCOME

Futuregames has been very pleased with the workstation and monitor’s performance for their gaming projects. With the color-accurate monitors, students can seamlessly work on intricate detail throughout their workflow. Paired with a robust workstation, the students now have the tools to create top-tier games in a fraction of the time. This empowers them to easily channel creativity and generate innovative gaming experiences.

“We have a long history of cooperation with ASUS. I couldn't imagine any other brand delivering such top-notch equipment to us. I can recommend ASUS to any schools or organizations out there,” concludes Matecki.
