ASUS Product Warranty Information

Please refer as below of product warranty information

    1. Warranty of ASUS products starts from the date of invoice issued from the dealer. Customers are obliged to properly keep the purchase invoice (or proof of purchase) to protect their rights.

     

    2. For how to identify the warranty period of different ASUS products, please refer to the instruction on product serial number page. If you have purchased the warranty extension (not original ASUS warranty) from the authorized dealer, you need to contact with the dealer for warranty check during the warranty extension.

     

    3. Warranty period is judged by the serial number of products if the customer does not keep/have the purchase invoice (or proof of purchase) of the authorized dealer  

     

    4. Warranty period varies by different countries/regions. Please inquire with the local dealer where you purchase your product.

     

    5. Damage and malfunction caused by the improper use and improper disassemble are not covered under the warranty.

     

    6. ASUS Warranty service does not cover the damages resulted from the product disassembly by user or unauthorized engineers by ASUS, neither the incorrect disassembly/installation by user itself (excluding handheld products)

     

    7. Customers removed the ASUS original warranty label without permission,  warranty label is not inconsistent with product model/spec, serial number cannot be identified due to artificial obliteration and wear of the label, or products without ASUS serial number label attached. For all above cases , ASUS will cease the right of product warranty and repair service will not be provided.

     

    8. If there is any damage caused to the ASUS parts by third-party components during the upgrade, the cost of replacing the damaged ASUS parts will not be covered under warranty. It will be the customer's responsibility; but the warranty still applies to the entire device.

     

    ASUS has the right to properly charge for the repair if any damage is caused by the following factors : 

     

    1. The damages are caused by natural disaster, irresistable exterior force or human negligence improper manipulation 

     

    2. The damages and malfunction are caused by personal disassembly, specification change without official permission, or using the non-ASUS original accessories

     

    3. The malfunction caused by installing the unauthorized software and settings change.

     

    4. Errors and malfunction caused by computer virus infected

     

    5. ASUS Warranty label is ruined or failed to recognize. To protect your right, please do not remove the ASUS original warranty label (with serial number).

     

    6. Cables and circuits are exposed to moisture or contact with liquid , and therefore caused serious oxidation and rust.
