[ASUS MA-25] What might affect the MA-25 transmission speed?

1. To get the better transmission quality, please ensure that the coaxial cable used in the environment is RG6.

    

2. The working frequency range of MoCA 2.5 is 1,125MHz ~ 1,675MHz. However, some splitters may not be able to be worked normally in this frequency range, such as abnormal transmission, etc., please confirm that the working frequency of the splitter used in the network is within the operating range of MOCA 2.5.

3. The one labelled “FM” was used back then for FM radio while the one labelled “TV” would have been for TV (they are on the same “circuit” by the way). The main difference is that the “FM” sockets usually have notch filters that filter out higher frequencies.

Customers using the MA-25 would be well-advised to use only and ONLY the “TV” outlet which does not have the notch filter that filters out higher frequencies as shown below.
