“The brand-new dual cameras on ZenFone 5 Series can be switched to different focal lengths with a single button — it's really straightforward, and fast! With the enhanced light sensitivity of the sensor, ZenFone 5 Series is very effective at capturing more light, and HDR mode captures clear detail even in backlit or high-contrast environments. The super wide angle in ZenFone 5 makes it easier to capture the whole view. ZenFone 5 Series also has a slow-motion mode that records videos at high speed and plays them back at a much slower speed. It's a really enjoyable and fun feature!”

"From the South Pole to the North Pole, whether in low light, cold environments, sunny to magnificent scene, ZenFone 5 has the ability to capture every shot in stunning color, which gives me full confidence.
All I need to do is to enjoy every moment with every surprise, and just focus on discovering the beauty in every corner. The super wide-angle lens in ZenFone 5 lets me capture the world I see."

"ZenFone gives me unprecedented feelings, providing amazing quality that exceeds expectations. It even affected the way I took pictures on my journey, allowing me to capture a beautiful moment in an instant.
ZenFone 5's AI smart functions give me a convenient and fast way to share photos with friends without any filters."

"The ZenFone 5Z continues the great ASUS tradition of fantastic value for performance. First to market with the zippy Snapdragon 845 with the highest scoring DXOmarked Asus camera ever, the 5Z is a joy to use. The images are crispy sharp, and the HDR software is super effective in pulling in the highlights and the shadows to render a natural looking scene that matches what the eye of the viewer sees. There's hardly any distortion and the captured images have plenty of detail. The camera is a shining example of a great ASUS experience. ZenFone 5Z is the culmination of much deep functional thought and excellent work by ASUS, putting a great experience in a nice solid package. "
Kelvin Yuen
Hong Kong
Kelvin Yuen was still a student at Hong Kong Baptist University when one of his photographs won a National Geographic contest. Not only was it a huge achievement for someone his age, but even more staggering was that he had only picked up a camera for the first time a few years prior. His winning shot was taken of Kowloon Peak, a 602-metre mountain in one of Hong Kong's country parks, which is close to where he lives. His panache for landscape photography has since caught the eye of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, which uses his services as a photography consultant.
"The new ZenFone 5 is an excellent performer in extremely cold conditions, where it remains fully functional. It also provides a long-exposure function in its professional mode, perfect for capturing the Northern Lights and the Milky Way at night."
Poon Wai Nang
Hong Kong
Poon has worked as a photographer for many tourism-related organizations and administrations in various countries, airlines and international resorts. He's a volunteer photographer for Oxfam Hong Kong, an international development and anti-poverty organization. Being a travel writer and columnist, Poon regularly contributes articles and content to various newspapers, magazines and social media. He's also a travel presenter for radio.
"The new generation of Zenfone will bring you to a higher level of performance.
The automatic function would be able to take amazing pictures. The artificial intelligence function could record down my habit of photo capturing that you only have to focus on dealing with the composition of the picture.
With the strong HDR function, even under a complicated light sources, a perfect photo will be taken. In addition, the new wide display DCI-P3 color space will show a true and real presentation coming to your sight."

Mariusz Stachowiak
Poland
Mariusz Stachowiak, known on social media as ODERWANY, is a photographer and traveler. He promotes the idea that the best camera is the one you have with you. Through smartphone photography, he shows that the idea has never been as authentic as it is nowadays. He convinces everyone by sharing his photographs on social media, on his own website, in photography exhibitions and also in photo albums. During his career and travels he has discovered the full potential of mobile cameras, something that inspired him to write his guidebook entitled "Beautiful Photographs from a Smartphone, Within an Arm's Reach”
“Another model from the ZenFone series that shows and proves that there are no longer limits in making creative photography on a smartphone. It's good to have such device with you.”

Marian started his career as a photographer back in 2011. He has covered top motorsport events all over the world, including Rally Dakar, MotoGP, WRC, and has worked with the best international brands, teams and athletes such as Valentino Rossi, Lewis Hamilton, Ken Block and more. Apart from motorsport he loves traveling and travel photography, having visited more than 60 countries over the last five years.
“As I shoot with professional DSLR cameras and heavy lenses almost every day it is always a big relief to leave them at home and travel with my ZenFone 5. A phone with a camera that I can rely on, no matter what. I really like to use the Pro mode to have all the settings under control. You can get amazing results in low-light conditions as you can set the shutter speed down to 32 seconds and get some great long exposures. Another feature I use while shooting some sports is the super-fast sequence - you just hold the button and then just choose the best moment from the captured photos, or you can create some cool GIFs. Slow motion video also works really well with action sports. Last but not least, whenever I need a cool portrait shot or just pinpoint anything from the photos, I just switch the Portrait mode on and play with the depth effect.“

Italy

"I used my ZenFone 5 during a journey through Italy in different conditions: portraits, landscapes, in ancient villages in the evening; it never disappointed me.
In particular, the panoramic function has allowed me to create images so wide and suggestive that they seem cinematic and the depth effect with the incredible variable adjustment has really stimulated my creativity."

Vincenzo Romano

In addition to being a photographer for weddings and events he has collaborated for several years with different brands, hotel and tourist boards for sponsorship on his Instagram profile, and has also created exclusive ad-hoc photo and video content for use on social channels and websites.

"The camera in ZenFone 5 is perfect for capturing the colors and emotions that surround us just how you really want them, thanks to the use of artificial intelligence that remembers your shooting habits and the types of photos that you like. Another strong point is the wide-angle lens that allows you to capture fantastic panoramas"
