ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces Play It Cool CS:GO Community Challenge

Series of Counter Strike: Global Offensive competitions give gamers the chance to compete against professional players and win ASUS ROG prizes

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced that the Play It Cool CS:GO Community Challenge — a series of three live and online Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) events — will be held during November and December 2015. The Play It Cool CS:GO Community Challenge begins on 26th November at DreamHack Winter 2015 with a shootout party, where fans and participants can face superstar players fox and Maikelele from G2 Esports for a chance to win an ASUS ROG G752 gaming laptop and a spot in the grand finals event.

The event continues during late November and into December with five online CS:GO challenges, where gamers can compete for one of five spots to play against the all-star Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team in the grand finals event. This grand finals event will take place December 19 at the DreamHack Studios in Stockholm, Sweden, where a CS:GO Community Challenge All-Star team will face five teams from the community live on stream.

DreamHack Winter 2015

The first event in the Play It Cool CS:GO Community Challenge will take place from November 26th to 28th at DreamHack Winter 2015, where super-skilled pro players fox and Maikelele from G2 Esports will be taking on challengers from the audience and other on-site fans. There will also be many other activities with loads of ASUS ROG prizes to win.

At stake during the shootout party is an ASUS ROG G752 gaming laptop and a spot on the All Star team at the Play It Cool CS:GO Community Challenge grand finals event at the DreamHack Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. The other four members of the All-Star team will consist of three professional players and one famous CS:GO personality. The All-Star team will take on the five winning community teams from the online challenge in a huge, live-streaming event with lots of surprises.

The DreamHack Winter 2015 event will be located in the DreamExpo in Hall B. The Play It Cool CS:GO Community Challenge booth will be open from 11:00–21:00 CET during all days of the event.

Worldwide Online cup challenge

The second event in the Play It Cool CS:GO Community Challenge is a series of five online cups hosted together with FaceIT that will take place on 29th November, 5th-6th December, and 12th-13th December. Each of the five cups will be played on a single CS:GO map.

The winning team of each online cup will get a spot to play against the All-Star team at the Play It Cool CS:GO Community Challenge grand finals. The grand finals will be a major production held live on stream and winners of the online cup challenges are sure to have the match experience of a lifetime.
