ASUS Announces ProArt Mouse MD300 and ProArt Mouse Pad PS201

TAIPEI, Taiwan, December 17, 2021 — ASUS today announced ProArt Mouse MD300 and Mouse Pad PS201, the latest ProArt tools designed to help creators boost their workflows. Each is a powerful tool when paired with other ProArt products, including ProArt Studiobook laptops, ProArt Station PCs and ProArt displays that offer vivid, accurate colors and precision controls, to give users an effortless and robust creative experience.

ASUS ProArt Mouse MD300

ASUS ProArt Mouse MD300 has a built-in dial with full 360° rotation and click functionality, making it the first mouse that’s compatible with the ASUS Dial app, so working with creative apps feels as intuitive as possible. Its quick-charge capability allows it to charge faster than competitor devices in its class, while incredible energy efficiency allows it to work for up to 150 days on a full charge . ProArt Mouse MD300 also features three mouse buttons, including a large middle button that’s independent of the top scroll wheel.

World’s first mouse that’s compatible with ASUS Dial

With ASUS Dial compatibility, the built-in dial and side scroll wheel of ASUS ProArt Mouse MD300 give users precise and seamless control in creative apps, allowing them to simply rotate and click to change brush size or adjust saturation or layer opacity. The dial and scroll wheel can also be used to rapidly undo previous actions, speeding up the creative process. In addition, users can change settings and customize commands in supported Adobe® apps such as Photoshop®, Lightroom® Classic, Premiere Pro® and After Effects®.

The dial is made of quality materials and includes a grease layer in the wheel holder to ensure smooth and stable scrolling. It’s fast, too ― scrolling through 100 lines per revolution and lasting five times longer than traditional mouse scrolls.

ASUS ProArt Mouse MD300 offers long-lasting performance with up to 150 days of use on a full charge, and with fast-charge support, it provides up to 3 hours of heavy use or 8 hours of light use¹ from a one-minute charge via a USB-C® connection.

Large programmable middle button for creative apps

Aside from the replaceable left and right mouse buttons, ASUS ProArt Mouse MD300 has a large middle button that’s independent of the middle scroll wheel. This can be used for CAD software or programmed for other functions through the Armoury Crate app. All three mouse buttons feature professional-grade switches that are rated for up to a 50-million-click lifespan and provide satisfyingly tactile feedback with each click.

ASUS ProArt Mouse Pad PS201

ASUS ProArt Mouse Pad PS201 is tailored to boost creative workflows. Finished in Star Black, it features an elegant leather strip along the top edge, concealing embedded magnets that keep accessories in place and help to keep any workspace organized. The soft, woven top cloth gives it a refined look and reduces wrist fatigue. An additional magnetic clip helps secure charging cables or earphones.

Versatile gray-card base

Creators can use the silicone base of ASUS ProArt Mouse Pad PS201 as a gray card for easy white-balance calibration. Plus, photographers and designers can use the 18% gray-card base as a reference point to adjust exposure and white balance settings for consistent colors.
