TWSC Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Viettel AI to Foster Innovation in Cloud Computing and AI

TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 3, 2024 —Taiwan Web Service Corp (TWSC), a subsidiary of ASUS, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Viettel Center for Data Services and Artificial Intelligence (Viettel AI), a division of Vietnam’s leading corporation, Viettel Group. Coming on the eve of Computex 2024, this strategic partnership marks a significant step forward in business and technical cooperation between Taiwan and Vietnam.

Jackie Hsu, ASUS Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Open Platform & AIoT business groups, and Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and CEO of Viettel Group, jointly witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement between TWSC and Viettel AI at ASUS headquarters. Under the terms of the MoU, TWSC and Viettel AI will focus on developing Cloud Computing for AI, Generative AI, and Large Language Models, particularly in the realms of healthcare and smart cities. Both parties have committed to sharing their technical, professional, and practical expertise to foster innovation, aiming to explore new markets and enhance the quality of existing products and services.
