2022/10/06

TAIPEI, Taiwan, October 6, 2022 — ASUS today announced that it will be hosting the ASUS ProArt Master Talks 2022 online event on October 12 at 9:00 a.m. PDT. This year’s event theme is Make Next-Gen Virtual Production Real Today, and guest speakers will take the audience ‘behind the scenes’ as they discuss virtual production workflows and the technologies that drive it.

The pandemic has brought about challenges that have changed the creative workflow. Virtual production gives creators a new approach to filmmaking, bringing actors and all other digital filmmaking elements on camera for a fast and efficient production process. What was deemed impossible a decade ago, is possible today.

This edition’s guests include Peter Hyoguchi, a Hollywood director and famous virtual production advocate. He will discuss the advantages of virtual production and how to ensure a smooth workflow.

Jacob Schwarz, an experienced professional virtual production and HDR film director will discuss the benefits of using the ProArt Display OLED PA32DC on set. He’ll also share his HDR video-editing process on an OLED display.

Lastly, award-winning film director and VFX supervisor Victor Perez will share his insights on the computing power behind his hybrid virtual production workflow. He’s currently using a Powered by ASUS custom PC featuring the ProArt Z690-Creator motherboard, and is working on a project shot entirely in the metaverse.

Viewers can ask the guests questions via the live chat, and can enter a post-event quiz to win prizes, including a 34-inch ProArt Display PA348CGV or a ProArt Z690-Creator WiFi motherboard.
