Worldwide ROG gaming event visits WirForce, featuring well-known gamer 'Colalin' as team captain

TAIPEI, Taiwan, November 9, 2017 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today presented the Taiwanese round of the 2017 Join the Republic: Community Challenge (JTR:CC), hosted at WirForce. After the successful event at the Syntrend mall in Taipei last year, we decided to visit Taiwan again. With the introduction of League of Legends (LoL) alongside Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) this year, we've relocated to the biggest LAN event in Taiwan – WirForce. Four intense days of gaming will take place in the ROG booth at WirForce, with Taiwanese team captain Lin ‘Colalin’ Ying Hsuan selecting the lucky winners to go to Bootcamp and then on to the Grand Final in Sweden, in January, 2018 with her. Colalin is a popular gamer in Taiwan, and she also has the distinction of being the first female captain in JTR:CC history. Her skill and full participation in the gaming community have made her a well-respected name in the gaming scene, not only in Taiwan but worldwide too.
