TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 12, 2023 — ASUS recently showcased iHARP (Intelligent, Innovative and Individual Healthy Aging & Rejuvenation Platform) at the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics Asia 2023 (IAGG ASIA 2023) in Yokohama, Japan and received widespread attention and recognition. The platform for health and longevity revolves around the three core concepts of intelligence, innovation, and individualization. Recently, ASUS has actively promoted the platform to address the global concern of an aging population, and the newly introduced ASUS Healthy Aging model aims to achieve individualized healthcare by integrating health data collected from hospitals, personal devices, and the community. Additionally, the ASUS iHARP Longevity Formula combines precision health, telemedicine, and the needs of the elderly to create an intelligent health ecosystem and further enable elders to live happy and healthy lives.
How iHARP works
iHARP collects vital signs through smart wearable devices, and the collected data is then integrated with in-hospital medical records and questionnaires to identify potential health problems through cloud computing analysis. iHARP helps community health managers focus on monitoring the well-being of the population outside the hospital. Healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics can identify abnormal conditions in a timely manner, allowing them to take the initiative to care for the patients by conducting telemedicine sessions or mobile medical treatment.
The ASUS Healthy Aging model
The Healthy Aging model introduced by ASUS utilizes technology to supplement conventional preventive medicine. For example, voice recognition is now being used in cognitive screening — the technology is able to identify subtle differences that are difficult to detect manually and analyzes the respondent’s voice characteristics to predict the early stages of cognitive decline, providing a basis and diagnostic reference for early disease prevention.
ASUS is committed to improving the health of the community and is actively expanding its ecosystem to provide comprehensive health education, nutritional advice, and fitness recommendations to the elderly. Our inaugural collaboration partner, a leading food company in Taiwan, offers customized dietary recommendations based on individual eating habits and basic physiological data, and also aims to help the elderly manage their eating habits. In the future, more partners will be invited to join the iHARP ecosystem to provide more diversified health services.
