ASUS Announces Availability of ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH

TAIPEI, Taiwan, May 23, 2022 — ASUS today announced the availability of ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH, a portable monitor featuring a 100,000:1 contrast ratio for the deepest black hues, 100% DCI-P3 gamut, HDR10 and Delta E 2 color accuracy to deliver superb contrast and exceptional colors for incredibly true-to-life visuals. ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH offers extensive connectivity options with one mini HDMI® and three USB-C® ports (including one for DC input), along with an integrated proximity sensor that dims the display when not in use to reduce energy consumption and prevent image burn-in. A 13-inch model will be available in the coming weeks. The ZenScreen OLED MQ monitor range is a winner of 2022 Red Dot Design and CES Innovation awards.

Lightweight portability

The ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH has a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) panel and a super-slim profile that measures just 5 mm at its thinnest point. Weighing just 620 grams, it’s 20% lighter than other 15.6-inch portable monitors and slips easily into any briefcase or messenger bag, so it’s perfect for on-the-go use.

Cutting-edge OLED technology

ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH offers all the benefits of an OLED panel, with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10 and Delta E 2 color accuracy to provide true-to-life colors with the brightest white and deepest black hues. The panel provides up to 400 nits of brightness and has a 1 ms response time to minimize ghosting. ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH is the ideal extended monitor for laptops.

Convenient features

ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH offers extensive connectivity options with one mini HDMI and three USB-C ports — two enabled for DisplayPort™ Alt mode and power input, and the other with charging capabilities. The ports are placed on either side of the monitor for easier cable management and better setup flexibility.

A built-in proximity sensor prompts the monitor to switch to Power Saving mode when it detects that there isn’t a user in front of the display, and it returns the monitor to Normal mode when it senses the user’s return. This feature helps lower energy consumption and prevent image burn-in.

ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH comes with a bundled Smart Case that folds into a stand to prop the monitor up at 30° or 60° angles for comfortable viewing in portrait or landscape modes. Plus, it features a 1/4-inch thread socket at the rear of the monitor to make it compatible with most standard tripods.
