Together, we have had many extraordinary accomplishments during the past 25 years, and I look forward to seeing what we can achieve as we continue our journey In Search of Incredible in the years to come."

The sports day consisted of a variety of competitive events such as relay races, tug of war, three-legged races. In addition, there was a wide range of carnival-style games, food and performances for employees and their families to enjoy.

Twenty-five years of innovation

ASUS was founded in 1989 as a motherboard manufacturer in the early days of Taiwan’s computer industry. From our beginnings, we have had a deep passion for technology that drives everything we set out to achieve. Today, ASUS is a global technology leader with a workforce of over 13,600 employees, including an R&D team of 4,500 engineers.

Over the last 25 years, we at ASUS have achieved multiple milestones that show our passion for technology and commitment to empower people with an effortless and joyful digital life. In 2007, we launched our first Eee PC, which was an immediate hit and went on to revolutionize the PC industry by putting well-designed, portable and affordable notebooks into the hands of consumers for the first time. Following the success of the Eee PC, in 2010 we released ASUS Transformer Pad, which leads the trend for detachables.

In 2011, we released Padfone, the world's first 2-in-1 smartphone and tablet that allowed seamless transition between devices. We continued our innovative tradition with the 2012 launch of ASUS TAICHI, the world’s first dual-screen notebook, and ASUS Transformer Book, the world’s first notebook with a detachable tablet. In 2013, we reimagined home computing with the release of Transformer AiO, an all-in-on PC with a detachable 18.4" tablet. This year, we released ZenFone, a range of extraordinary smartphones designed to empower consumers with a set of powerful features and available in a variety of sizes and colors.

ASUS is passionate about technology and driven by innovation. We dream, we dare and we strive to create an effortless and joyful digital life for everyone. We’re always in search of incredible ideas and experiences. Although we have grown significantly as a company over the past twenty-five years, our passion for technology has remained unchanged and continues to be our driving force as we strive to expand the limits of the possible and deliver the incredible in everything we do.
