Compact and lightweight gaming laptop features an 8th Gen Intel Core U-Series CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics for gaming on the go

TAIPEI, Taiwan, January 19, 2018 —ASUS today announced FX570, a compact and portable gaming laptop designed for gamers on the go. It’s powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 U-Series processor and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 10-Series graphics. FX570 has a 21.9mm profile and an overall weight of just 1.9kg, and features a gamer-centric keyboard with a highlighted WASD key group and red-backlit keys with ambient-light control.

Portable design for gaming on the go

FX570 has an aggressive Reaper Black and Flame Red color scheme, and has a streamlined chassis with a thin 21.9mm profile, so it easily fits into a backpack or messenger bag. With an overall weight of just 1.9kg, it's the lightest 15-inch gaming laptop currently available, so gamers can take it with them wherever they go.

Game-ready performance

FX570 delivers game-ready performance, powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel Core U-Series processor with 16GB of DDR4 memory and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics. For reliable cooling during gaming sessions, FX570 has an innovative trapezoid-cut lid. This patented design ensures the lid doesn’t interfere with the air tunnels and exhaust, improving thermal efficiency over traditional designs. This unique lid and ASUS IceCool technology work together to provide FX570 with the cooling performance required for the most intense gaming marathons.
FX570 offers a choice of flexible and convenient storage options for a perfect combination of fast data-access speeds and high storage capacities. It can be specified with up to a 512GB SATA III SSD to speed up loading times for the operating system, games, and apps. The SSD can be paired with a 2TB hard disk with ample capacity for movie libraries, photo albums, and work files.

Red-backlit gaming keyboard

FX570 has a full-size keyboard designed to guarantee effortlessly accurate control, with 1.4mm key travel for tactile keystrokes. Additional gamer-centric features include a highlighted WASD key group, and red-backlit keys with ambient-light control for precise input, even in the dark. In addition, the touchpad features a built-in fingerprint sensor that allows users to unlock the device with a single touch, giving them a quick and secure way to access user profiles and data.

The 15.6-inch IPS-level display used in FX570 features a wide 100% sRGB color gamut for vivid and accurate colors that bring visuals to life. With its astonishing 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels — 4X more than Full HD — and a pixel density of 282 pixels per inch, FX570 provides pin-sharp text and incredibly realistic imagery.
